Welcome to the Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR), hosted this year by Occidental College, on Saturday, November 18, 2006!

SCCUR spotlights multidisciplinary faculty-mentored undergraduate research or creative achievement from many types of institutions in the Southern California region and fosters appreciation and fosters appreciation of the important role these activities play as an integral component of undergraduate education.

Through its annual conference, SCCUR celebrates the research, scholarship, and creative activities carried out by undergraduate students. Students in all disciplines-the arts, humanities, sciences, and social science-present their faculty-mentored projects to audiences of peers, faculty and administrators through performance, oral and poster presentations, or displays.

Participant Instructions

Undergraduate students who wish to present their faculty-mentored research or scholarly/creative activity at SCCUR must complete the Abstract Submission Form. This form must be submitted online no later than Monday, October 9, 2006.

Register for SCCUR

The Registration Form (available early this Fall) for SCCUR should be completed by Monday, October 30, 2006. Those registering after October 30th will be charged an additional $25.00 late fee. No registrations will be accepted after Friday, November 10, 2006.
